Recognizing the beauty and brokenness of ourselves and the world we live in (Luke 10:25-37; Matt. 25:31-46; Rom. 3:23) we strive by the transforming power of Christ to love our community in word and deed (James 2:14-17; Luke 24:15). Engaging our community involves gospel-centred ministries of mercy and justice that we partner with to seek to love our community well and share the good news of Jesus with others.

MISSION TO THE MARGINS

The mission of M2M is to serve as a bridge between the poor and the gospel, and between the local church and the local poor.
Our long term purpose is to see those on the margins in Cambridge have a genuine encounter with the message of the gospel, and to assist/serve the body of Christ in Cambridge as it engages with those on the social margins in Cambridge.

How Can I Get Involved?

If you would like to get involved with Missions to the Margins or hear more about the ministry, you can contact Jeff Hesselink here. Additionally, you can also build homeless kits the Jeff uses as he and his volunteers do outreach and ongoing discipleship with the marginalized.

DAWN PREGNANCY CENTRE (Cambridge)

Inviting individuals to health and hope.

Health: We invite individuals to experience physical, emotional, relational and spiritual wellness when facing an unintended pregnancy and/or related sexual health needs.

Hope: We invite individuals to pursue the hope that only Christ can give and to embrace how precious each person is, beginning with conception.

The Dawn Centre is a community-based, Christian charitable organization. Our goal is to provide accurate information, relevant services and caring support to the clients we serve. We are a limited health care facility and do not provide ongoing health care services.

YOUTH UNLIMITED (YOUTH FOR CHRIST) TRI-CITY

We are committed to reaching youth by offering programs and developing friendships that nurture the whole person – physically, mentally, emotionally, socially and spiritually. We are dedicated to seeing young people have the opportunity to make an informed decision to become a follower of Jesus Christ and become a part of a local church

Our Primary Goal is “To bring all youth into a life-long relationship with Jesus”

SEED’S CAMBRIDGE (SUPPORTING EVERY EVE’S DAUGHTER SAFELY)

It is our goal at SEEDS to provide holistic, compassionate care for female survivors of sexual exploitation, and to assist and promote healing and reintegration for the women it serves until they become part of a healthy community.

In addition to teaching SEEDS’ Core Values (Ownership, Collaboration, Gratitude, Communication, Balance), our organization seeks to love like Jesus, demonstrate His holiness and provide many opportunities for survivors to turn their lives to Him for complete healing, and onto discipleship.
