Renovation Update
Why We're Renovating
At Grace, we believe that every square foot of this space is for people—welcoming newcomers, growing in faith together, and making room for more. This renovation is about more than bricks and beams; it’s about building a place where people can find rest and relationship in God.

Latest Update – May 2025
Even small changes move us closer to a more welcoming and functional space. This month:
Balcony: Major structural work continues to accommodate new pews.
New Entry: Opening under stained-glass prepped for future entrance/exit.
In Progress:
Ceramic floor tile installation
Foyer painting
Sanctuary stage construction (starting soon)
New pews scheduled to arrive on June 23
Thank you for your prayers, support, and patience as we move forward to our end of July completion date.
Milestones We’ve Reached
-
Both the sanctuary and balcony pews were carefully removed to make space for the new seating layout.
-
The original stage was taken down to allow for a redesigned platform that better supports worship and accessibility.
-
Lower stained-glass panels were removed and the surrounding walls opened to prepare for new doors.
-
Our organ was temporarily moved to a safe side location while construction continues.
-
New wiring was run beneath the floor and through the ceiling to support upgraded audio-visual systems.
-
A full sanctuary scaffold was assembled to allow ceiling work to be done safely and efficiently.
-
The original ceiling is being restored with fresh paint, starting from the highest points down.
-
The main floor washrooms were fully stripped and are now being rebuilt with updated materials and accessibility features.
-
Framing, electrical, and mechanical systems have all passed their inspections—moving us one step closer to completion.
-
The structure of the balcony has been almost completely reconstructed to accommodate the shape and spacing of the new pews.
