At Grace, we believe that every square foot of this space is for people—welcoming newcomers, growing in faith together, and making room for more. This renovation is about more than bricks and beams; it’s about building a place where people can find rest and relationship in God.

Final Update – August 2025

After months of prayer, planning, and construction, we’re excited to share that the renovation work at Grace Bible Church is coming to a close.

  • Final project walk-through completed (Aug 5); remaining items are being addressed by Graceview.

  • Balcony carpet will be completed this week.

  • New pew cushions to be delivered and installed by August 14.

  • Duct cleaning and final site cleaning scheduled and underway.

  • Washroom mirrors installed and all washroom work completed.

  • Stained glass has been reinstalled above the new entrance doors.

  • Side (East) entrance doors installed and operational.

  • New balcony glass railing installed; top cap to be added next week.

  • Stage stain work completed to match pew finish.

  • Final AV cabling and control station installation underway.

  • Organ relocated to final position.

  • All plumbing and fixture installations are complete.

  • Door refinishing and trims completed.

  • Elevator electrical work begins Aug 11, followed by flooring installation and inspection.

Next Phase of the Project

  • Final building inspection to take place in the coming weeks.

  • AV team testing and system setup will continue through August.

  • Elevator work will continue through September, with full operation expected by the end of that month.

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who prayed, served, gave, and encouraged throughout this project. Every nail and paint stroke was a step toward creating space for more people to encounter rest and relationship in God.

Milestones We’ve Reached

    • All sanctuary and balcony pews removed and replaced

    • New pew cushions installed

    • Stage completely rebuilt and stained to match new seating

    • Sanctuary carpet installation completed

    • Projection screen installed and tested

    • Ceiling prepped and speaker system installed

    • AV conduit installed and control desk being finalized

    • Balcony structure rebuilt for new layout and safety

    • Balcony glass railing and support posts installed

    • Balcony carpet completed

    • Stair railings refinished

    • New doors installed under the stained glass windows

    • Stained glass reinstalled above new entrances

    • Side (East) entrance fully replaced and finished

    • Auto door operator (side entrance) installed

    • Door frames and refinishing work completed

    • Washrooms fully renovated with new fixtures, partitions, and mirrors

    • Front foyer painted and finished

    • Final site and duct cleaning completed

    • Organ relocated to its final position

    • New AV station built and final cabling underway

    • Final AV testing scheduled

    • Full fire alarm system tested and passed

    • All plumbing work completed

    • Elevator electrical work scheduled (Aug–Sept)

    • Final inspection walk-through completed (Aug 5)

What’s Changing

We’re making room—for people, for worship, and for the future. This renovation will bring more accessible entrances, refreshed washrooms, a newly designed stage, and updated sanctuary seating with new flooring throughout. It’s all part of creating a space that’s welcoming, functional, and ready for what God has next.
