Vulnerable Person and Child Safety at GBC

At GBC we take vulnerable person and child safety very seriously, which is why we have spent so much time developing our procedures and policies. Our Community Protection Plan requires all of our vulnerable person volunteers to complete our official training and certification. This certification includes seminars in which each volunteer actively participates along annual refresher courses, an up-to-date vulnerable sector police check, interview and references. We seek to provide high accountability and care in these areas in order to best protect the vulnerable. YOUNG ADULTS

(AGES 18-25)

This is a space where young adults gather to enjoy hanging out with each other and engaging with God's Word. This is a great place to meet other people for a time of fellowship and getting to know our local body of believers. Our ministry is focused on three essential aspects 1) Gospel Centred Impactful Teaching 2) Cultivating Meaningful Relationships through Discipleship 3) Serving Others and Outreach

Young Adults is led by our Associate Pastor, Tyler Oldrieve.

Young Adults takes place on Thursday nights from 7-9:00 at the church and take a break for the summer and holidays. During the summer we get together a couple times for a service opportunity or special event.

We regularly meet on Thursday nights from 7:00-9:00 pm at Grace Bible Church (unless otherwise stated) and take a break for the summer. During the summer we get together a couple times for a service opportunity or special event.

GBC youth exists to see teens transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our prayer is that, through this ministry, those who are not believers would experience salvation and those who are would grow in their faith.  Our ministry is focused on three essential aspects 1) Gospel Centred Impactful Teaching 2) Cultivating Meaningful Relationships through Discipleship 3) Serving Others and Outreach. Students who attend GBC youth can expect to enjoy: hearing from God's Word, playing exciting games, serving the community, and participating in event nights.
