Dr. Haykin also serves as core faculty at Heritage College and Seminary in Cambridge, Ontario. He is a member of the Royal Historical Society and Evangelical Theological Society among others.
Dr. Haykin is married to Alison and they have two adult children.
He is the general editor of The Complete Works of Andrew Fuller, a project that publishes "a modern critical edition of the entire corpus of Andrew Fuller's published and unpublished works.” Though Dr. Haykin was trained as a Patristic scholar, he also has developed himself in the area of 18th-century British evangelicalism, particularly the English Particular Baptist history and spirituality.
Haykin is a prolific writer having authored numerous books, over 250 articles and over 150 book reviews. He is also an accomplished editor with numerous editorial credits.
Pastor David Robinson grew up in London, Ontario, and after graduating from Redeemer College University and Mid-America Reformed Seminary (M. Div), he was called to Grace Bible Church (then Blair Community Church) in 1995. He has been at GBC since then and over time it has seen many changes. Our most recent change has been to transition from our previous location on Preston Parkway to Knox’s Presbyterian Church in Galt Cambridge.
This is an exciting journey as we are praying that as gospel seats open up, many will see the beauty and wonder of the great works of Jesus.
David has travelled numerous times to Mongolia, Cuba, Hungary and Asia to train church leaders. He also serves at Heritage College and Seminary as the director of the Biblical Care and Counselling Certificate.
David is married to Eva and they have three adult children and two grandchildren.
